Job Requirements

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia-both spoken and written.
• Deep knowledge of food and wine.
• Must be able to carry up to 60 pounds and work flexible hours, including but not limited to weekends and holidays.
• Authority to work in Malaysia.
• Previous work experience in a 5-star hotel environment.

Responsibilities

1. Present food orders in a timely manner with regards to quality and accuracy.
2. Greet guests warmly and take the time to explain menu items clearly.
3. Keep rooms clean by picking up trays from the room service areas.
4. Handle guest complaints and special requests in a professional manner, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
5. Process guest checks accurately and handle guest check adjustments or complimentary meals according to policy.
6. Assist with plating and preparing small food items when required.
7. Carry out other duties as assigned by the team.
